Nitya Jain, Ph.D.
Principle Investigator
Dr. Nitya Jain is an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at Harvard Medical School and an Assistant Immunologist at Massachusetts General Hospital. She received a Master’s degree in Microbiology from the University of Pune, India and a Ph.D. in Biomedical Sciences from the University of Massachusetts Medical School, Worcester, MA. Nitya is passionate about science, Immunology and STEM outreach.

Jordan Philpott, Ph.D.
Postdoctoral Fellow
Dr. Jordan Philpott is a postdoctoral fellow in the Jain Lab. He has a BSc in Sports and Exercise Science and received his PhD in 2019 under the mentorship of Drs. Oliver Witard, Kevin Tipton and Lee Hamilton from the University of Stirling, Scotland (Thesis: ‘Understanding the role of omega-3 fatty acid supplementation for human performance.’ Jordan brings strong expertise in nutrition to the Jain Lab and is also keen to learn immunology.

Simon Kazimierczyk
Research Technician
Simon Kazimierczyk is a Research Technician in the Jain Lab. He has a BS in Biology from University of Massachusetts, Boston. Simon shares the lab’s passion for early life research and his immediate goals are to master bench skills and experimentation in Immunology that will help him grow and foster his research interests. Simon is a true team player and values his role in contributing to the overall progress of the lab.
